What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

SFO is the closest major airport, which you can fly into and then uber to your hotel/Cavallo Point. For our fellow Texas friends, DFW, Love Field, Austin, & Houston all offer direct flights into SFO! You can also consider flying into SJC (San Jose), but that is further south in the Bay Area and will be a longer uber to your final destination.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding day attire is black tie optional. We encourage you to wear any colors you like! Women, please wear nice long dresses and men, please wear at least a dark suit and tie. If you have a tux and would like to wear it, please do! Please note when planning your shoes, the walk up to the ceremony spot and down to the cocktail hour is paved but steep and involves some stairs. There are golf carts onsite, but they are limited and ADA guests will be prioritized.

Are children allowed?

Please refer to your official paper invite and/or your invite online if children are welcome in your party. Besides key family and friends’ children, kids will not be present and this is an adult only event.

What is the weather like in June?

Answer

June in Sausalito is typically mild, dry, & pleasant, with mornings that can be foggy, clearing to sunny afternoons & evenings. Temperatures generally range from 50s to 70s. The ceremony & cocktail hour will be outdoors. We recommend bringing a layer for the evenings, but the wedding reception will be indoors.

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Cavallo Point offers valet service as well as self parking spots around the premises. If you are parking on wedding day, both valet and self parking should be covered. If you are staying onsite as a hotel guest, valet parking is included the entirety of your stay.
