We have actually chosen to do an online honeymoon fund registry. We know this isn't traditional but we are people who love experiences over physical gifts. This way our guests can be a part of gifting us with a wonderful honeymoon to start off our marriage. We want our guests to be comfortable but also dressed up with us. Semi-formal attire is preferred so please no jeans, Girls; wear any sort of dress or skirt. Guys; dress pants and a nice top. Any color is great besides any white or shades of white. Any sort of floral is also perfect as we hope our wedding is a very garden party vibe. Our bridal party color is pastel yellow.
Your invitation will specify who is invited. Therefore if a plus one is being provided it will say so on your invitation. We have had to be very mindful of our space and budget as we plan for this day and we hope you understand. As for children, while we love the kids in our lives we are unable to accommodate having them at our wedding, we have set an age limit of 17 and up for our guests and again it will say who specifically is invited.
Our ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors with an option to hang out outside. We would recommend possibly bringing some sort of small fan especially for the outdoor ceremony.
We ask that during our ceremony you would keep your phones away and just enjoy the moment. We will have a special time at the beginning of our ceremony for anyone to snap a quick picture who wants to and this will be announced. Other than that we ask you not take photos and leave that to the professionals we have hired, you are more than welcome to capture as many moments as you'd like during our reception.
