FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would love for everyone to dress up - look good, feel good! You can wear any color you'd like but we kindly ask that you do not wear white, cream or any shade of these colors as this is reserved for the bride. Please keep in mind when choosing your attire that both the ceremony and reception will be partially outside and we will be walking on grass throughout the day.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

As much as we LOVE your children this will be an adult only event. We hope that you see this as an opportunity to have an evening for yourselves and enjoy the time with us!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony", this means we are asking all phones and devices to be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our day and we would hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony is complete, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like! We kindly ask that you try to stay out of the photographers way so she is able to capture everything as well. If you take any photos, please send them to us so we can also share them. We will be sure to share out ceremony photos as soon as we receive them!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We will have an open mocktail bar for our guests to enjoy. Misty Meadows is an alcohol and smoke free venue.

Question

What happens if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than August 12th, 2024. We must give out final numbers to our vendors in a timely manner therefore if you have not submitted your RSVP by August 12th, 2024 you will be marked as a "no" response. We will miss you at our wedding however we will not be able to accommodate late RSVPs.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a "plus one"?

Answer

Due to limited seating we ask that you only bring who is directly invited on the invitation as we are only prepared to accommodate those invited.

Question

What if I'm late for the ceremony?

Answer

If you are late to the ceremony please do not interrupt, either watch from a distance, wait in your car or go to the directed reception site. We ask that you do not take a seat as to avoid interrupting the ceremony.

Question

What should I expect for food?

Answer

Expect lite breakfast appetizers followed by the most delicious breakfast buffet. We love going out to breakfast more than any other meal and wanted to incorporate that into our special day.

For all the days along the way
