I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska on December 31st, 1999. I have two brothers and a sister named Alex, Kyle, and Kristal. My parents are named Frank and Claudia. I lived in Alaska till I was 16 years old then I was given the opportunity to move to ABQ and live with my aunt and uncle and finish high school. I am definitely thankful to the Lord for this move because I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for that leap of faith. I started my college career in Portales NM, studying Computer Science at Eastern New Mexico University and am still working towards a Bachelor's degree. After my freshman year I transfered to UNM and joined a Christian group called Christians on UNM. Through joining this group I was able to meet some amazing people (Liz) and was able to grow in my relationship with the Lord. Throughout my life I have come to realize the importance of trusting in the Lord's leading, because if it was up to me and what I wanted to do I would not be where I am today. I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing me with such an amazing bride Elizabeth. I am also thankful for my family and friends, and life experiences that have brought me closer to the Lord. I pray that we can honor the Lord through our marriage and our life together!
I was born in Tampa, FL, and grew up in a loving Christian family as the youngest of four siblings. Growing up, we moved around frequently due to various circumstances, but through those changes, I was able to form close and lasting friendships. Eventually, we settled in Albuquerque, NM, where my siblings and I all graduated from the Universities in New Mexico. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. After graduation, I attended the FTTA a two-year Bible school spending one year in Austin, TX, and the other in Anaheim, CA. Through the Lord's leading, I decided to return to New Mexico after completing Bible school. The Lord led me to serve Him in the campus ministry at the University of New Mexico, and for the past 2.5 years, I’ve been on staff with Christians on UNM. It has been a joy and privilege to serve Him in this way and it’s through serving that I met Caleb! Looking back, I can now see how the Lord has been arranging every detail of my life. He truly knows exactly what we need, and His timing is always perfect!
We met through Christians on UNM. I first met Elizabeth at a volleyball night after she moved back to ABQ from the FTTA. I knew she was different from the first time I saw her. Then some time had passed and I knew I wanted to start something with her relationship wise. So after conferring with my best friend (James Sanchez) he told me that I should ask her out, so I did. And she said in a very polite way, she wasn't interested. SO, I did what any guy would do when they just got rejected by the girl of their dreams I avoided her and didn't really talk to her after. Then after a few months there was a club spring break trip to Arizona, so I decided to sign up. Apparently everybody canceled last minute except Andrew, Abraham, Laura, and of course! Elizabeth. So I decided to go anyway even though I would be stuck in a car with the girl that rejected me, her brother and his wife, and Andrew who apparently knew all of the deets. Throughout this trip I had to interact with Elizabeth and started to rekindle my feelings for her. After that trip I decided that on her birthday I was going to make her a cake and give her a birthday card. So I did. After that a few months went by and we had gotten closer and closer to each other, then one day came and I decided to tell her how much she means to me. Then she hit me with the two things a guy never wants to hear from a girl they like, "You are such a great FRIEND and BROTHER to me". So naturally I crashed out and said why is she torturing me but I didn't give up because I had this feeling in my heart from the Lord that she was the one for me. So I kept showing her who I was in the hope that she would realize I was a great guy and she should give me a chance. So after a few home cooked meals and a anonymous rose and chocolates she finally told ME that she had feelings for me. Then 8ish months later I proposed to her at White Sands National Park with the help from my family and now here we are. Praise the Lord!
I met Caleb after graduating from Bible school in 2022. From the moment I met him, I thought he was very kind, and as I got to know him better, I realized how much we had in common. One of those shared interests is our love for cooking and baking! After Bible school, I needed to focus on my health and wasn’t ready to start a relationship with anyone at that time. Eventually, Caleb shared his feelings for me, but I wasn’t interested then. Later, I found out he was saddened by my response, but he continued to pray for me faithfully. For about a year, as I concentrated on my health and serving, Caleb remained a friend, and during that season, I felt the Lord leading me to pray for my future husband—whoever that might be. As time passed, Caleb and I started talking more, and I began to see him differently. Over time I saw his kindness and care for others. He opened his home for our small group meetings and even cooked us my favorite pasta dish, shrimp scampi, entirely from scratch! His thoughtfulness touched my heart, and I realized I had feelings for him. With the Lord's leading, I felt peace about expressing my interest in pursuing a relationship with Caleb. Thankfully, he still had feelings for me and shared that he had been praying for me as well. This was further confirmation and gave me peace that the Lord was working in both of our lives. We began courting in February 2024, and through much prayer and fellowship, we felt peace. Just eight months later, we got engaged! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and leading in our lives!
