Caleb and I met one chilly fall evening at his cousin’s birthday/halloween party many moons ago. Throughout the night we glanced and smiled at each other but neither of us would make the first move. As the night went on he asked his cousin, “who’s that?”and he was told “that’s Danielle, she’s 16, you can’t date her!” but here we are almost 11 years later. So with the help of his cousin we managed to exchange numbers the next weekend. We dated for a while but we were young and had growing up to do. As a result, we lost touch and went separate ways for a while but in the end we both knew we were in love and truly wanted to be together. We reconnected and have been together ever since. Caleb and I have experienced so much life together, I can truly say he is one of my best friends and I couldn’t imagine a life without him. We have grown in many ways, in the process of building a home together, the next step for us is to tie the knot, so we’re finally doin this thing!
