Mount Rainier National Park is an incredible place to visit in Washington. There are a tonne of hikes for all levels. Along the way you will see raging waterfalls, beautiful alpine meadows, and staggering views of the volcano itself. If you're lucky you'll get a look at some of Washingtons wildlife; elk, marmots, bears, bobcats and a plethora of fish and birds. Clara's favourite trail is the Tolmie Peak Trail which has epic view from Fire Lookout.
The biggest city in the PNW Seattle offers many options for whatever your likes are. There's the famous Space Needle with revolving restaurant. Pike Place market where if you're lucky you'll get to throw a fish. Many different museums. And a beautiful waterfront with a ferris wheel showcasing views over the pacific.
This trail is only 15 minutes away in Clara's home town of Orting. It's a beautiful trail along the river with great views of Mt Rainier on clear days. It is mostly paved and flat and you can go as far you like there and back. Park at the Orting Skatepark parking and head to the trail and turn left away from town.
This is Clara's favourite coffee shop, maybe ever. If you're looking for somewhere to get a good bean juice then this place has good drinks and a great atmosphere. (Make sure you go to the one at the address linked, it's way cuter!). Feel free to explore downtown Puyallup while you're there.
Point Ruston is a beautiful waterfront development in Tacoma. Walk the trails along the Puget Sound, enjoy many shops and restaurants, or even rent a surrey bike!
This is Clara's home church. If you're around on the Sunday they would love for you to visit!
