Travel Details

The closest airport to fly into is Reno, Nevada. There are several rental car companies at the airport to book in advance and then it’s about an hour drive to Lake Tahoe. Turo.com has been the cheapest rental car option so far. Search Reno Airport in the app and you can arrange to pick up the rental right outside the airport doors and avoid the rental car lines inside. We are anticipating that most people will fly in Wednesday and leave Saturday, unless you want to stay through the weekend to explore.
