We’re getting married!

Caleb and I met on October 10th, 2018 at Cleveland Christian Fellowship while Brother Jerry Savelle was speaking there. We made eye contact several times throughout the night and I prayed and asked God for the opportunity to meet him and asked Him to work it out. I was trusting that if it was God’s will for us to meet, it would all work out. I watched Caleb worship that night and I remember seeing such a genuine love for Jesus and it was so attractive to me. I saw something very special in him that I had never really seen in anyone before. We looked at each other one last time after the service was over and before I got to my car he ran outside to meet me and told me I was “very pretty.” Even though it was a year before I even saw him again, I never forgot about him. Around September of the following year, we began talking on the phone and hung out several times. On December 29th, a little more than a year after we met, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We said "I love you” for the first time the following month and as we continued to spend time together, we became best friends. We discovered we shared a love for Jesus, a love for worshipping Him together, a love for playing music together, a love for the Word, a love for riding Harley’s together, and going on lots of adventures together! We are so glad we were at the right place at the right time and thankful for God bringing us together and orchestrating our meeting. We are both glad we waited for God’s best and let Him write our love story in His perfect timing!

On our one year anniversary, Caleb took me to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I thought we were just having a special date since it was our anniversary, but little did I know the surprise he had in store for me! We had a wonderful dinner at a Mexican restaurant and after that he took me up the Skylift. Surrounded by Christmas trees and Christmas lights, which are some of my favorite things, he got down on one knee and told me how much he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and he asked me to marry him. He had it all planned out in advance and I was completely surprised! It was the most beautiful, wonderful night of my life and I’ll never forget it. It was far better than anything I could have ever dreamed of or imagined and that’s one of the many amazing things about God. When you trust Him and His perfect timing, He’ll give you the desires of your heart and it’ll be even better than anything you could have dreamed or imagined. When you trust God, He will write you a love story that will give Him glory! We invite all of our friends and family to come and celebrate with us as we enter into the covenant of marriage! 🤍
