Our dress code is Formal with a Garden Party aesthetic: polished and elegant, but also vibrant and summery. We encourage bright summer colors, playful and floral patterns, and interesting textures that feel festive for an outdoor celebration. Women are encouraged to wear formal or semi-formal dresses such as tea length or floor length dresses and to lean into the garden party vibe with florals, bold colors, light fabrics, and fun textures like chiffon, silk, organza, or linen blends. Men should plan for formal or cocktail-style attire, such as a suit or a blazer with dress pants. Summer-friendly suits in navy, light gray, or bright colorful tones are welcome. Feel free to incorporate fun ties, pocket squares, or subtle patterns that match the bright and celebratory feel of the day and setting. Are bright colors and patterns okay? Absolutely! We love bright summer colors like pink, green, and orange, as well as florals and patterns that complement the garden party atmosphere. The more festive and joyful, the better. Are there any colors guests should avoid? We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, or anything that could be mistaken for bridal attire, including floral patterns that have larger amounts of white. What about shoes? Since our ceremony is taking place outdoors, we recommend comfortable yet dressy shoes. Wedges, block heels, dressy flats, or loafers work well on grass.
The bridal party will be sky blue.
The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be inside.
If your invitation is addressed to your whole family, we would love for your kids to join us on our special day! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time if you're leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
We have made the decision to have an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that you please refrain from taking any pictures on your cell phones during this time and out all phones on silent/turned off. We want everyone to be fully present with us during this special moment and for our photographers to be able to capture the best moments. We are more than happy to share these photos with you!
We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. When you RSVP, if you received a plus-one, they'll appear under your name. Thank you for your understanding!
We suggest that guests arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony time.
Both our ceremony and reception will be held at Jeffrey Mansion.
Yes! There is a designated parking lot for Jeffrey Mansion behind the building, just down the hill.
