We met when Caleb was needing a female leader for a trip and someone suggested, "Annie's back, you should ask her." Caleb didn't know Annie too well but knew her family and thought it would probably be okay. Within 30 minutes of the trip, Caleb realized that his rendition of The Lumineers' "Ho, Hey!" wasn't a repellant for Annie. This was a sign. Over several years and living in the same location (different apartments, people, don't jump to conclusions), Caleb finally mustered up the courage (this is a stretch) to ask Annie out on a date. And now we're getting married.
