We have known each other our whole lives. Our parents were in the same homegroup so from birth we were having play dates. In 2011 we rekindled our friendship on a mission trip to Washington, DC. Our relationship grew as we did, leading to the confession of feelings in April 2012. Five months later, with a See You at the Pole bracelet in hand, Caleb officially asked me to be his girlfriend on September 21, 2012. Most of our dates were spent hanging out at each other's homes, having fun with family and friends, or on Market Street in Corning. Sunday became our favorite day quickly since it was the only day we got to see each other. Fall of 2014 Caleb moved 600 miles away to attend Indiana Wesleyan University, and I finished up my senior year of high school. God blessed us with the chance to attend college together, and Fall 2015 started the period of our lives where we lived 5 minutes from each other instead of hours. We still spent summers apart, both having opportunities to travel the country and the world. August 2017 rolls around and we are both finishing up exhausting but incredibly rewarding summers of ministry. I get off a red-eye from Washington and went to bed. Caleb shows up at my house in a suit with flowers in his hand, ready to take me on a beautiful date. Standing on the brick path off Market street, Caleb got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!! Our future sister-in-law captured that perfect moment for us to remember forever. When we get married we will have been dating for 6 years, and they have been the best of our lives.
