The Wedding Of

We met at a bar on a Monday night through a dating app. Caleb messaged me to say “let’s start our week off right”. It was the longest first date we both ever had and we left the date feeling butterflies, which we both hadn’t felt in a very long time.

He asked me the day that we closed on our new property. The plan was to buy property to build our wedding. We closed on the property on a Friday afternoon and went to the property afterwards to mark out where we wanted things to be on our wedding day. At some point Caleb asked me, “where do you want the arch thing to be at? Like where will the ceremony be?” I told him over there somewhere and Caleb was persistent and said “ Can you show me?” So we walked over to where we wanted the arch to be to get married under and I turned around and he was on his knee. Caleb told me that “He has been waiting for a very very long time for this moment”. We met October 2023 and he proposed March 2025.
