When Faith transitioned to a new church, Caleb’s sister was the very first person she met as she introduced Faith to her brothers. At the time, Faith simply knew Caleb as the guy who sang and led worship. Neither of them had any idea that God was quietly writing the beginning of their story. One of their first real conversations happened on a packed church bus. They ended up sitting across from each other in rows that were so full their knees were literally holding each other up to keep from falling into the aisle. As they talked, Faith found herself giving Caleb relationship advice… about another girl. At the end, Caleb told her he would never sit that close to her again. Looking back now, those words make them laugh, knowing what God had planned all along. Over time, Faith became part of the friend group that often gathered at Caleb’s house. As they spent more time together, they both began to develop feelings for each other. Throughout the summer, nothing was said out loud, but they both knew they enjoyed each other’s company and sought each other out whenever they could. On October 11th, 2023, after a student meeting where they both served, Caleb pulled Faith aside and confessed that he had feelings for her. Faith smiled and replied with the very romantic words, “I THINK I like you too.” Even then, they chose to wait before officially dating, wanting to be sure they were following God’s plan for their lives. During that time, they intentionally grew closer to the Lord together—diving deeper into Scripture, praying, and seeking God’s direction for their future. When God gave them peace, Caleb officially asked Faith to be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day in 2024. From that moment on, the rest was history. Very early on, they both realized something that confirmed their relationship was different: their love for the Lord came before everything else. They encouraged each other to seek God in the lows and praise Him in the highs. Together, they found that life wasn’t just more enjoyable—it was more God-honoring. Caleb had actually told Faith long before they started dating that he was going to marry her someday. So when the proposal came, it wasn’t a matter of if they would get married, but when. When God gave them peace beyond understanding, they knew the time had come. On January 30th, 2026, Caleb proposed—the beginning of forever. Through every step of their journey, they’ve held onto one simple truth: “God is pro our relationship.” And with that confidence, they look forward to a lifetime of serving the Lord, loving each other, and building the future God has planned for them.
