If you have questions other than what is listed here please text Jamie or Caleb (but likely Jamie is better for this, let's be real).
Question

What about Covid?

Answer

Great question! We are going to do the best we can, month to month. As far as we know everyone is vaccinated, and we hope everyone is able to get a second round of boosters. If state or site restrictions change we will let everyone know.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We are hoping for perfect crisp fall weather (in the 60/70s) but it is fall in the Northeast so it could be 80s and sunny or rainy in the 50s (please, I hope not!). We recommend being prepared for all weather occasions and bringing layers, layers, layers.

Question

What will be indoors what will be outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting we are hoping to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, and the welcome party will be in an open air pavilion. The Barn, where the reception is, is indoors.

Question

How close is Cedar Lakes to NYC?

Answer

Cedar Lakes is about 1.5-2 hours. We recommend flying into Newark, JFK, or LaGuardia.

Question

Can I bring a hot date?

Answer

Idk, can you? In all seriousness, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Which meals can we join?

Answer

You are invited to join us for the below meals (in addition to the reception) at Cedar Lakes Estate. However, please make sure you RSVP ahead of time so we know who to expect! Dinner Sunday Breakfast Monday Lunch Monday Brunch Tuesday

Question

How accessible are the ceremony and reception locations?

Answer

The ceremony site requires a walk through grass, on uneven areas, and a boardwalk. Please let us know if you would benefit from a golf cart ride (vroom vroom!).

Question

What should we pack?

Answer

Because the weather is so unpredictable in the fall, be prepared for it all! It might be nice enough to take advantage of the sunnier activities CLE has to offer -- in which case bring a swimsuit, athletic gear, a yoga mat, etc. But it could also get chilly and rainy and you might want a rain jacket and a fleece.

Question

What is Joanie going to eat?

Answer

Thank you for your concern for the mother of the bride!!! There will be an option for the "kids meal" -- chicken fingers & salad or penne with tomato sauce. If you, or someone you are RSVPing for, would prefer this over the family-style reception dinner please let us know ahead of time. We will likely not be able to accommodate this day-of. Jokes aside, this dinner is Joanie approved!

Question

Are babies or dogs invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult and human-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the babies and fur-babies at home so you can celebrate with us.
