Matron of Honor
Maddie and I just didn’t really realize how good we had it when we lived next door to one another freshman year at Ohio State. After we got over their misery of being away from home for the first time, a friendship equally matched in depth and ridiculousness was born. 10/10 theological discussions and Olentangy float partner. Maddie is truly the best of both worlds.
Maid of Honor
nnie and I were pretty unsure of each other at first. What really sealed the deal was living together in the Apollo and romping around Northwood Avenue in the evenings after our daily grinds when everyone else had plans. Annie has taught me so much about humility and rivals Caleb himself in full-sendedness. She also knows a lot about math but unfortunately neither Annie nor I understand tensors.
Bridesmaid
Ally is one of my oldest friends as we go back to Mrs. Ansbury’s 4th grade graduating class of 2009. We made it through middle school together (enough said right there), high school marching band, and remained steadfast friends into and beyond college. I admire Ally’s reliability and steadfastness in friendship and look forward to many more years of Secret Santas, girls trips, and hearing Ally’s stories but hopefully no more years of making movies on iPods. That needs to be done.
Bridesmaid
Tinkee 433 forever. Megan Sullivan is quite literally my ride or die - she single-handedly escorted me across the country from Ohio to my new home in Phoenix. Friends that make driving through Texas for 14 hours fun are hard to come by. Both Caleb and I love Megan’s commitment to YoungLife and her incredible love and compassion towards other people.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom and the sister I always hoped for! Abby has the best perching skills and only together can we convince Blake and Caleb to make a dance video with us. I can’t wait to make this a tradition and hopes participation from the boys will be voluntary in a few years time.
Bridesmaid
There is no one else I would rather go to the Lane Avenue Parking Garage with. Sarah’s spunk and zest for life helped us to survive the summer swamp level of the attic as well as the Tundra level of the attic. Together we have learned much about the animals of this planet, the legal system of Ohio State, how to annoy your housemates, how to annoy Blake Ryan, and the Lord’s faithfulness.
Bridesmaid
Bethany has been a homie since day 1. Only a month apart in age, we have been kicking it together every Thanksgiving since 1998. This duo might not take names at pickleball but surely does at wii bowling. They are also the queens of second (and sometimes perhaps third) dessert. I love Bethany’s empathetic and servant-hearted nature - she serves her patients and her church body so well!
Bridesmaid
Macy lives life on F, drives cars on E. 10/10 escort to the emergency room, 6/10 getaway driver. Macy and I met at church the summer I moved to Phoenix. We also work at The Company together and teams message each other probably more often than we text. Macy has a faith that can move mountains and is an inspiration to all who are fortunate enough to know her to work hard, play hard, pray hard. Macy is consistent in friendship, reliable in trouble, and always willing to help a homie in need.
Bridesmaid
Katie is a wildcard firecracker. 10/10 wig collection and country dancing skills. I love Katie’s humor, her incredible hospitality I’ve been so blessed by, her persistence through difficult things, her love for the foreigner, and her faith. She’s taught me a lot and I hope that I continue to have the privilege of learning from her! And trying on her wigs!
Bridesmaid
I met Bekah on a day I seriously needed a friend. She was one of my first friends in the Valley and is becoming one of my oldest! She came right up to me at church and introduced herself, and her and her family have been a huge blessing over my entire time in Phoenix. Bekah is one of the most thoughtful people I know, generous and an awesome adventure buddy. We can make it to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and out again together but still can’t seem to make it into the Wendy’s.
Best Man
Cade became so close to Caleb in college that they have frequently been confused as being the same person. Cade proceeded to distinguished himself with long luscious locks and a pubescent mustache. A faithful friend that has been there for Caleb through thick and thin. Failed to convert Caleb into a baseball fan despite best efforts.
Groomsman
Sweet Michael. Enough said.
Groomsman
Stephen and Caleb were roommates in Alabama until Emma stole him. Played too many rounds of disc golf with Caleb to count. Likes: board games, video games, and protein. Dislikes: beating Caleb in disc golf, vegetables and cardio
Groomsman
Caleb's older cousin, and role model, for better or for worse. Provided dating advice during Caleb's pursuit of Georgia. Injury prone doctor. Noticeably paler than most.
Groomsman
Caleb's friend first, then married his sister. Taken over Caleb's role of pushing Abby out of her comfort zone. No blood relation to the Ryan mentioned above despite similar skin complexions.
Flower Child
Self proclaimed Übermensch, Teddy is the brother of the bride and enjoys looking for new ways to tease Georgia. Diversified Lego portfolio.
Groomsman
Spencer and Caleb have been friends since pre-school. Farmer but not a redneck. Has doubled muscle mass since high school.
Groomsman
(S)Tanner and Caleb became friends in middle school. Ran cross country with Caleb for 6 years, also hated running for 6 years. Good hair.
