We’re getting married!

Caleb and I met through mutual friends SIX years ago when we both attended the same comedy show at the historic Alabama Theater in downtown Birmingham. We hit it off and exchanged contact information that night. Then we connected the next day and began to get to know each other better.

After we met in April 2015, Caleb and I got to know each other by taking walks after work in Railroad Park at the heart of downtown Birmingham. At the end of our second or third walk, Caleb asked me to have dinner with him on our first official date. We have continued to walk in this park together throughout our relationship, so I didn't think much of it on a random Thursday in August 2020 when Caleb asked if I wanted to walk the dogs there after work. When we reached the park, to my surprise, Caleb got down on one knee in the same spot where he asked me to our first dinner date five years earlier, and he asked me to be his wife!
