Nantasket Beach has been a popular summer destination for city dwellers for over a hundred years. The reservation encompasses 26 acres along one and a third miles of oceanfront. The historic Paragon Carousel evokes memories of the area's amusement park history. Band concerts and public dance lessons are popular summertime events.
Davis Square is our main stomping ground and Emma has called it home for the past 4 years. It's got tons of fun restaurants and bars. Our favorites include: Rosebuds for a brunch to write home about, Dave's Fresh Pasta for obviously awesome pasta, and Saloon for a classy nightcap. Also check out the Somerville theater and the Museum of Ugly Art in the basement. It is truly something special.
Explore the Boston Harbor Islands by boat. There are many small islands near Boston that have been preserved as parks and offer great views of the city and ocean plus fun hikes.
