How We MetHow We Met

2/28/21

Jessie and Nathan first met in Alton Bay, NH around 2005-2007. While they don’t necessarily remember that, there are a few photos with them together at such a young age. Fast forward to September 2016, high school sophomore Nathan was up in Quincy helping move his sister Megan into college when they ran into each other outside of the Caldwell family home on Marlboro St. It is very evident God was moving in their lives even from when they were very little, as their parents are college alumni all within a few years. Coming to college the same year, Nathan became good friends with Jimmy Keuther, who was early on a dear family friend of the Caldwells since birth. The Kindt family traveled up to Quincy so Rev. Steve Kindt can interview and later get the job as pastor of Wollaston Church, the church that the Caldwell family has been members of since Kipp was in diapers. While they were pretty good friends freshman and sophomore year of college, even through Covid, it was just a friendship; until the move up to Quincy and a haircut for Nathan, that changed it all. February 28th 2021, junior year about a month into second semester, Nathan asked Jessie to be his girlfriend. Through long distance summers and a current 1400 mile distance in jobs and living situations, on Christmas Day in 2023 they got engaged. Now, almost a year later, they are excited to invite and see you as they celebrate their marriage.
