On August 28, 2015 Ashlee and I met while I was on a call at stater bros, After talking for some time she gave me her number and I gave her mine. later that night she messaged me to talk because she was up with her son Ethan. Ethan was about a month old and having a rough time sleeping. That night I asked her if she wanted some coffee, she declined and said it was to soon to meet. I said, don't worry, I am in Law Enforcement I understand. How about I leave it at the door. She said ok, A couple days later on September 1, 2015, While on Patrol Ashlee messaged me asking if I knew how to take a car seat out of the car because it was put in to tight with the safety latches. I said I have 3 Kids, I think I can get it for you. So I went down there and while getting it out met her Father John. Scared the living crap out of me, It was a shock and ugh type of moment. After I got it out she asked if I could take her to do a custody exchange with her ex due to their past history. I said yes. After the exchange we went out and drove around, Going to Starbucks, the park and even took her to fire a couple rounds with my glock. She refused and I scared her by firing one off. Now I can't keep guns away from her and she has a wish list. That night we made our relationship official. Now over three years later, and after many trials, mistakes and bad life choices, Ashlee and I are getting married after finally finding who we are. what we want and most importantly finding each other. We love each other and we are excited to take this next huge step into our relationship. Although we had a small courthouse ceremony because we could not wait anymore we wanted to have the wedding we both have always wanted, We hope to see you there and see how beautiful she is going to look in the wedding dress. I am truly the luckiest man alive.
