We’re thrilled to celebrate our love with you all!

Daniel and I were introduced through a mutual friend, Franco. Daniel was living in Mississippi at the time and I, somewhat reluctantly, agreed to chat with him online. Over the next few months we chatted from time to time, exchanging math puns and talking about our lives. Come August 2019 and my looming 30th birthday, I took a solo trip to Hampton Roads to relax and contemplate life. As it turns out, two weeks before Daniel had moved back to Virginia Beach. Despite my original plan to read on the beach for three days, he convinced me to lunch with him. He won my heart with the perfect date: a steak, coffee, and a trip to the bookstore. Fast forward a bit or so and we're in a long distance relationship. We talk on the phone everyday. We do weekend trips to see each other. Then COVID hit. Then I got sick. Daniel moved in to take care of me. He slept on the couch for two weeks and brought me my meals with his mask and face shield. After surviving that together, we saw no reason to be apart ever again. Daniel made the move official. To paraphrase the children's rhyme, first comes love, then comes moving in together, then comes the engagement. The ring was picked out and purchased early. Like months early. We were just waiting for the right time. September came, and I was finally free from the hospital for a few weeks. September 27th, we came to the restaurant where we had our second and third dates, and down on one knee went. The tears flowed along with the shouts of "YES!!" And they lived happily ever after.
