We Got Married!

After our friends encouraged us to check out Hinge, an online dating app, we reluctantly joined and ended up striking up a conversation. We were each about to quit the app after a week or so, but we had set up a coffee date and figured we would follow through with it. Secretively, neither of us wanted to go on the date. (Anthony was afraid of being semi-catfished again, and Angela didn't feel ready to date at the time.) But each date kept getting better and better and before we knew it, we were in love!

We knew for a while that we wanted to elope somewhere scenic, and we landed on the state where Anthony was born - Colorado! After much debate about whether or not to take the kids with us, we decided it was better to finally have a trip to ourselves. We roadtripped around the state, driving through some crazy scary mountain passes, before settling in Boulder and marrying ourselves at Brainard Lake at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. As for the kids, we surprised them in Pittsburgh the following week with a unity ceremony at Point State Park and dinner on Mount Washington.
