Things To Do

Welcome to Boston (& Cambridge & Somerville)! Below are some of our favorite spots that are great for Boston first-timers and seasoned visitors alike!

Getting Around: MBTA

Use Boston's public transit system to get around the area while you are in town. If using Google or Apple maps, select the "Transit" option to navigate to your destination. Newly added "tap to pay" on buses and at train stations makes paying your fare easy as can be! Uber and Lyft are also easy to come by to get around!

Harvard Square

Cambridge, MA

Walk through the historic campus, visit the Harvard bookstore, and stop by some of our favorite spots for a drink or quick bite - Shay's, Lou's, Felipe's. Definitely worth a stroll to the Charles River to take in the iconic Harvard bell towers.

Boston Common

139 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02111

Stroll through Boston's "Central Park", take in the Christmas lights, and ice skate on the frog pond!

Beacon Hill

Boston, MA

Walk through this charming neighborhood of Boston to view classic brownstones and peruse quaint shops.

Emmets

6 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02108

You can't visit Boston without going to an Irish pub! One of our favorites with a cozy atmosphere and a delicious Irish coffee.

Harpoon Brewery & Beer Hall

306 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA 02210

Located in Boston's Seaport, visit this Boston-based brewery for a pint and/or a guided tasting!

Snowport Holiday Market

80 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA 02210

A festive pop-up market in Boston's Seaport. Beware - a line tends to form pretty quickly after opening hours so would recommend going early!

Cambridge Antique Market

201 Monsignor O'Brien Highway, Cambridge, MA 02141

This four-story antique market offers endless booths of treasures and unique finds! Conveniently located near Cambridge Crossing with cafe and brewery options to fuel your shopping.
