Question

How do I book a cabin at Camp Cody?

Answer

Please reserve a cabin at the following link: https://CampCodyCabins.eventbrite.com

Question

Additional details on your stay at Camp Cody:

Answer

Camp Cody has pine-paneled lodges and cabins that complement the surrounding forest environment with lakeside views. Cabins are equipped with heat, interior bathrooms with running water, and electricity; offering a comfortable sleeping experience! They are clean and cozy. When you stay at Camp Cody, the Bride and Groom will assign your bunk. We will do our best to accommodate requests for bunk assignments. We anticipate having enough capacity to provide guests with a comfortable, private camp cabin experience. For those with mobility concerns, there is a residential building which will accommodate your needs. Please see the 'Photos' tabs for additional pictures of the cabins.

Question

Additional details on the linen rental at Camp Cody:

Answer

If you rent linens, you will receive a set of sheets, a blanket, a pillow with pillowcase, and two towels. You should make sure to rent linens for each person in your party. If you are a local guest, we encourage you to bring their own linens - because why rent them when you can bring your own.

Question

Can I park at my cabin?

Answer

You can drive up to your cabin to unload your belongings, but then we ask that you move your car to the parking lot for the duration of your stay. The parking lot is close to the cabins, so you can easily get to it when/if you need to.

Question

What clothing items should I bring with me for my stay at Camp Cody?

Answer

- Bring clothing for camp activities! Comfortable clothing will allow you to take part in our summer camp activities and stay cozy at night. As New England weather is always unpredictable, please watch the weather forecast in advance to see if you should bring shorts or pants. - Wedding Attire: even though we will be at camp for the weekend, the actual wedding ceremony, cocktail hours, and reception will be considered Cocktail Attire. -Bring layers. You may be warm during the day, but that may change once the sun goes down. Be prepared to enjoy the bonfires and other night-time activities. Jacket and/or sweatshirt are recommended. - Bathing Suits: Even though it is October, the water in Lake Ossipee will still be warm (ish). Water activities, including canoes and other water vessels, will be available for all. So come prepared with your bathing suit and a towel.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Kids are invited, but we also want our wedding to be your night off! We plan to book a couple babysitters to make that a reality.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we ask that it is just you.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We hope that most guests will be staying on-site at Camp Cody where no transportation will be needed! If enough guests book at the__ motel in Ossippee we may provide a shuttle to and from Camp Cody. Unfortunately, no transportation will be provided for hotels in North Conway.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically the weather is quite beautiful during this time of year. Temperatures can range from a High of 70 to a Low of 40 degrees at night. The Lake is usually about 60 degrees at this time of year. Fall foliage in New England will have begun and according to visitNH.gov we will be approaching the peak which hits around October 10th.
