My favorite day to date- July 11, 2025. Craig, his family, and my family pulled off the greatest surprise- the proposal.
After having begun the proposal planning in January, July came along and Craig's body determined that he did not still "have it" and ended his pick-up basketball career just 11 days before the big ask. Achilles surgery 4 days prior still didn't stop him, as he texted worried family that, "the show must go on". The big day came, with Craig sporting a sleek leg cast, and although he was unable to bend the knee physically, and it took me far too long to realize what was happening, it was the truest surprise I'd ever received (as evidenced by my proposal outfit;)).
We are so blessed to have had great families there to celebrate, and can't wait to continue the celebration with all of you!
