How We Met

4th Period Lunch at Roswell High

First day of senior year, Caity & Will sat with mutual friends for lunch. Though their social circles heavily overlapped, it took two and a half years for them to come face to face. Once they started talking, they couldn't be stopped. An AP Econ study date and a house party (thanks, Alex!) sealed the deal. They've been best friends ever since.

Together at Last

A flight from New York, A Move Upstairs

After dating long-distance all through college at UGA and UVA, career moves took Will and Caity to separate cities. Summer 2017, Will took an opportunity in Chicago. A year later, Caity packed up her little 5x13' room in Manhattan to finally be in the same city again. She made things easy on Will. He simply moved from the 1st floor apartment on Barry Ave to the 3rd.

How He Asked

A Roadside Attraction

"I'll love you until we're as extinct as this Triceratops." Okay, that's not actually what he said, but he did say it at Dino World off of I-65 in Kentucky. 5 hours into a 10-hour road trip to Atlanta, Caity pulled off for gas. At the top of the exit ramp, a full scale T-Rex beckoned them. Will begged for a pit stop. Caity obliged. After a quick picture, Caity started back to the car - eager to get back on the road. Will grabbed her hand, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. She said, "Are you serious?" followed by an obvious, "Yes!". All she wanted was for him to do the legwork and catch her off guard - check and check!
