We're getting married!

Caity and Kevin met on Bumble of all places in the summer of 2020 - during the peak of COVID-19. If you are unfamiliar with Bumble, it is one of the few dating apps where women have to make the first move. Caity's winning opener was "Nice sweatshirt", not realizing Kevin was wearing a University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse sweatshirt - as opposed to supporting her beloved Wisconsin Badgers. As the pandemic continued and Kevin moved to Chicago, Caity became his de facto third roommate and quickly won over his friends Tommy and Justin, which naturally evolved into the seamless integration of friendships both old and new as they started to build their lives together in Chicago. Five years of dating, over two years of living together, two cats, and many road trips, bike rides, and concerts later, Kevin proposed to Caity in the place where it all began, Goldfinger Brewing Company, in the same spot they had their first date.
