The Haw River Ballroom is a beautiful, riverside music venue set in the former Dye House of historic Saxapahaw where we have seen many of our favorite music artists perform. Given our shared love for spending time in nature and enjoying live music, The Ballroom felt like the perfect spot to celebrate our marriage with friends and family. Saxapahaw was originally settled by the Sissipihaw Native American tribe. We are making a donation to both the Triangle Native American Society and Saxapahaw Forward as part of our wedding.
Welcome Drinks- Friday 5/29: Casual dressy summer attire Ceremony - Saturday 5/30: Outdoor wedding attire, semi-formal. Earth tones, fun / botanical prints, and Saxapahaw sunset hues encouraged! Bolo ties welcome. Have fun with it - wear something that makes you feel good :)
We are only providing transportation from the venue back to the hotels at the end of the night for those drinking. Buses are scheduled to depart from the Haw River Ballroom back to the venue at 9pm and 11pm. Please carpool and use ride share services to get to the venue! There is parking at the venue for those driving themselves/carpooling.
