O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW)

Chicago has two airports: O'Hare and Midway. They are roughly equidistant from Oak Park. O'Hare is larger, but both are great options if you fly in from town with taxis, rental cars, etc.

Train

Taking Public Transit: CTA or Metra

Green Line: The ceremony site is just over a mile north of the Oak Park Green Line stop. To ride the CTA, you can either tap to pay with your phone or credit card or use a Ventra pass, which can be purchased at any train station. If you are coming from Chicago, you can take the Green Line towards Harlem/Lake to Oak Park. The Church for the ceremony is less than a mile from the Oak Park Green Line (20-minute walk). The reception site is less than a half mile to the Oak Park Green Line stop (10-minute walk). Metra: Metra riders can take the Union Pacific West Line (UP-W) from Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago to the Oak Park Station. Day passes or one-way tickets may be purchased in advance or from the conductor on board the train. The Church for the ceremony is less than a mile from the Oak Park Metra Station (20-minute walk). The reception site is less than a mile back to the Oak Park Metra Station (20-minute walk).
