We love your little (and not-so-little-anymore!) ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you’re able to relax and enjoy a night out with us!
NO! There is little to no ride-share service in Point Reyes. We recommend having a car or coordinating transportation in advance. Transportation details for the wedding day will be shared closer to the event.
Cocktail Attire—We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable (no suits required!) but also feel free to dress up and have fun with it! Don't forget shoes you can comfortably dance and wander in (ladies: block heels, wedges, or flats are your friends). While our reception will be indoors, the venue is a working ranch, so you can expect some grass and gravel underfoot. We’re hoping for sunshine, but Point Reyes is a Northern California coastal town, which means summer fog is part of the charm. Coastal evenings can be cool, even in June, so layers are highly encouraged.
Our ceremony will take place outdoors in a grassy meadow at Black Mountain Ranch, followed by an outdoor cocktail hour near the barn. The remainder of the evening—dinner and dancing—will be held indoors inside the historic barn. If you feel like stepping outside for a breath of fresh air as the night goes on, we’ll have a few fire pits just outside the barn for gathering and stargazing (fog permitting!).
We ask that guests arrive by 4:30pm. Parking will be available on-site, with a short stroll to the ceremony site.
Yes! There is ample parking at the ranch, with a short walk to the barn and ceremony site. Please make safe plans to get home if you want to drive yourself.
Absolutely! Please let us know what your needs are so we can try to accommodate with our caterer. Email Caitlin at cebruffey@gmail.com or Luke at mcalpine.lucas@gmail.com.
