The venue will be open starting at 4:00 pm. Please arrive no later than 4:30 pm to settle in for the ceremony that begins at 5pm.
The ceremony and reception are in Ventura, CA at McGrath Ranch & Garden. The venue allows guests to leave their cars overnight if needed. However, we do encourage our guests to Uber to and from the venue if they plan on drinking.
The weather in Ventura throughout late August is usually pretty darn nice. Especially if you are retreating the valley heat! However, we recommend bringing a light jacket since it is known to get windy in Ventura during the evening. Daily high temperatures are around 76°F, rarely falling below 71°F or exceeding 82°F. The highest daily average high temperature is 76°F on August 25. Daily low temperatures are around 61°F, rarely falling below 55°F or exceeding 65°F. The highest daily average low temperature is 61°F on August 25.
The dress code is garden party formal. The venue is outdoors and the Garden will be in bloom. Feel free to wear bright colors and fun prints. We will have a photographer snapping pictures throughout the night and want our guests to look and feel their best!
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The venue's open layout allows us to create a fun and dynamic experience for our guests. There will be games, drinks, snacks, a photo booth, and more!
After the ceremony, the bridal and groom will sneak away to some time to soak in the special moment together and capture memories with the wedding party. Guests will be asked to grab their chairs from the ceremony and find their seats at the marked tables. Once settled, the guests can explore the open garden, where there will be activities, finger foods, and beverages.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
There will be vegetarian and vegan options during the cocktail hour and at dinner.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels, our only request is that you tag us in them!
We will have champagne, beer, and two specialty drinks created by us. We ask that our guests have fun, but please drink responsibly.
There is unlimited free parking available on the premises of the venue.
We are flying to Vancouver at the end of August to explore Canada. Any contributions are welcome and beyond appreciated! You can find the fun in the registry tab in the menu.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Although we want everyone we love and care about with us on our special day. We understand that there are obligations or things that come up that are out of our control. If you cannot attend the wedding, please let us know, and we can plan another time to celebrate.
