FAQs

If you have any questions that are not listed here please feel free to contact Caitlyn at 918-385-2694 and she will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Question

I FORGOT TO RSVP! WHAT DO I DO?

Answer

We understand that sometimes people forget, as life is very busy! However, due to the amount of seating and the amount of food prepared, if you did not RSVP, we will be unable to accommodate you at the reception. We would love for you to attend the ceremony; however, due to guest counts, there will not be a seat provided at the reception. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This event is relatively formal. Dresses, skirts, suits, button-ups, slacks, and jeans are recommended. Please reserve white for the bride. For any other attire questions, please contact the bride.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! However, we must know before you RVSP for the event to guarantee there will be enough food for everyone! Keep in mind that the venue can only accommodate a certain number of people, so if we are completely full we may not be able to allow an extra guest.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We hope your whole family can join us on our big day! Due to the size of the venue, we ask that no extra kids be brought. When RSVPing make sure that your kid/kids are listed! If not, please get with us to add them!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony, please park in the Cedars parking lot, down the street, at the Poteau United Methodist Church, or even in the parking lot behind the post office in front of the Dollar General. Due to the large number of people and the small parking area, please be prepared to walk if necessary. Please park wherever you feel comfortable. If you are unable to walk distances, please let us know in advance, and we will accommodate you. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. For the reception, there should be an ample number of parking spaces at the Reynolds Center parking lot.

Question

What time should we arrive? How long will it last?

Answer

The wedding ceremony should begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. We ask that guests arrive 15 minutes early at the latest. The ceremony should last no longer than an hour, and we will then travel to the reception venue. The reception will last no longer than 3 hours; however, you are welcome to leave whenever is most appropriate for you!

Question

IS THERE A CERTAIN SIDE I NEED TO SIT ON?

Answer

No! You are loved by both the bride and the groom. There’s no bride side or groom side as we are all here to celebrate the love we share!

Question

WILL THERE BE FOOD AT THE RECEPTION?

Answer

Join us for a relaxed reception featuring light bites including meats, cheeses, and croissants, plus drinks and cake to celebrate! Make sure to bring your dancing shoes!

Question

I have a food allergy, will I be able to find something to accommodate me?

Answer

Yes! When RSVPing for the reception there is a spot to put food allergies! The bride is gluten-intolerant so we completely understand dietary restrictions or allergies and will do our best to accommodate your needs! Feel free to also reach out to us!

Question

Can I post on social media after the wedding?

Answer

Please wait for the bride and groom to post photos before you post any pictures of them! Feel free to post pictures of yourself, family, or friends, but please refrain from posting the bride or groom until they post. We appreciate your understanding, as this is a very important time in their lives! For any questions, please contact the bride.
