Schae's house was hosting a Beer Olympic party and Schae's brother Spencer brought a few of his friends to Schae's house for this event which included Cate. Yes you heard that right Cate and Spencer were friends first! Schae didn't know yet but he would meet the girl of his dreams playing beer pong. It was Schae and Spencer vs. Cate and Spencer's girlfriend at the time. It was down to one final cup and Cate scored the winning cup by a bounce shot. Schae could never forgive himself for losing to Cate. In fact it scarred him so much he would only snap chat Cate for the next few months because he was nervous to ask her on the date. Cate knew she liked him from the minute she played Beer Pong against him as his kind heart even showed through his sore loser attitude. Everyone told Schae that Cate is a lot of fun in fact Cate's nickname was "Crazy Cate" in college. Maybe that is also why he took so long to ask her out! In a show of divine intervention it took the waitress at a local PF Chang's to tell him to ask her out or he could miss out on the love of his life! And the rest they say is history!
