We recommend walking around the street (calle) 5 de mayo (5th of May). There are many cute shops, restaraunts and beautiful buildings. It is great for simple sight-seeing and doing things on the fly.

Check out some local history at the Regional Museum of Queretaro! There are English signs to read as well. This is a beautiful, historic building.
This is a big city garden. A great place to walk and enjoy some local greenery.
Jardín de Zenea is a classic plaza. People gather here to relax, or sometimes there are events. There are also street vendors here.
Another plaza, right around the corner from the venue. This historical plaza has a fountain that has dog statues and they are very cute.
These aqua-ducts were built to supply water to a local church. A wealthy man fell in love with a nun and wanted to support her mission. These were the main water source for the city for a while, and were built entirely by hand. Look up the full story.. it is quite interesting! They are worth checking out.
Santa Rosa de Viterbo is a neoclassical Catholic church. It is beautiful inside. There are also many other churches you can usually visit as long as you are quiet and do not walk down the middle aisle. Typically, photos are not allowed. Outside are the classic QUERETARO letters to take photos with.
