On-Property Restaurants (Resort Casual): We recommend dress shorts and short-sleeve button ups for the men and dresses for the ladies. Ceremony and Reception (Semi-Formal): We recommend lightweight suits or linen pants for the men and flowy dresses with sandals for the ladies. Please note: The property has golf carts that will take you around the resort, but the property is very hilly and we do not recommend high heels if you are planning on walking around. Cute sandals, loafers or sneakers are recommended.
During our recent trip to the Andaz, we dined at all restaurants on property and found that they all offered extraordinary quality and service. You can access restaurant menus and reservations through the resort site: https://www.hyatt.com/andaz/liraz-andaz-peninsula-papagayo-resort-costa-rica/dining Please note that these restaurants are all bookable via OpenTable. We have been told that the resort will be near capacity the weekend of our wedding so we highly recommend that you pre-book your dinner reservations before arriving to ensure that you can dine at your preferred restaurant and time.
Our ceremony and reception will take place at the Andaz Resort. There are golf carts that can be arranged to take you to and from your room for our events. If you choose to stay off-property, you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the events.
Our ceremony starts at 4:00PM on Sunday, May 11th. We recommend that guests arrive by 3:45PM to be seated. If you are staying off property we recommend that you give yourselves enough time to get through the peninsula security check and park.
We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us. Photos are encouraged during the cocktail hour and reception.
