We met through Bumble. It took Max a lot of convincing to get me to eventually meet up. We initially met up at a coffee shop in Oconomowoc, but our first official date was viewing the Christmas Lights at The Ingleside in Waukesha. We officially started dating in January of 2019, and have been inseparable ever since.

One of our favorite places to spend time together is at the family cabin on the Willow Flowage. My favorite spot is in front of the fireplace with a cozy blanket, book, and cup of coffee. We were spending an extended weekend there. On the final morning of our stay, Max started the fire and had the coffee brewed. He encouraged me to stand in front of the fireplace for a photo together, but instead he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
