We met for the first time when we were only 12 years old, in 6th grade personal finance class at Fuller Middle School. By the end of middle school we were best friends and this friendship continued into high school. At the end of junior year in high school our feelings evolved and we decided together to try dating and have been inseperable since, through basic training, deployments, nursing school, and long distance our love for eachother never waivered.

On January 11th, we were preparing to leave a cabin we spent the week in as a getaway in the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN. KeyAundree requested that before we leave the cabin to make the road trip back home that I take a few last minute pictures of him and the beautiful view from the cabin’s back deck. I obliged and we walked out on the back deck in the snow. I had my phone prepared to take photos of him, and when I looked up he was on one knee in the snow, with a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains behind him, asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. Without hesitation I said YES!
