5:00 pm - 5:45 pm
Lavender-Lemonade drinks will be served to refresh you and the garden will be open to enjoy photos and time to connect. Engaging activities for children and adults will be offered during this time and during the social hour.
5:45 pm - 6:00 pm
Guests are asked to meditatively walk the labyrinth on their way in to take their seats for the wedding ceremony. This will take at least 15 minutes. Once everyone has walked and entered the labyrinth, the wedding party will walk the pathways, entering one by one in reflective silence. The bride enters last, accompanied by live instrumentals.
6:00 pm - 7:15 pm
The event attire is vintage 1850s-early 1900s, Edwardian Era classical styles with sun hats and fans to cool off as needed.
The wedding ceremony will begin with an opening reflection by the officiant and spiritual readings, followed by the exchange of vows and rings, a unity ceremony, and a closing labyrinth walk. The couple will walk the labyrinth together, symbolizing their first journey as a married pair with the wedding party following behind in silent reverence. All of the wedding guests will walk behind the wedding party in a procession.
7:15 pm - 7:30 pm
This is the time following the ceremony where guests can mingle, enjoy light refreshments and drinks, and socialize before the reception dinner begins. It's a chance to explore the venue and flower gardens, relax, take pictures, and catch up with friends and family. There will be a scavenger hunt for children during this time.
7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
The dinner tables will have guests assigned to seats in arrangements for people to get to know eachother. Vegan/Vegetarian options will be available.
8:30 pm - 9:00 pm
As the sun sets, guests participate in our circle of blessings in the labyrinth, surrounding and offering the newly wed couple with words of love and encouragement.
8:45 pm - 9:30 pm
Right after our blessing circle, while still in the labyrinth, we will enjoy singing and dancing as we enjoy eachother's company. To start, the couple will have their first dance, with parent dances after and then open folk dancing with everyone to follow.
