The Whitewood Barn Site 21, 25016 Twp 483 RR1, Compartment 7, Millet, AB Please copy/paste link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/nPZDPByPCqNuK6Ga8?g_st=i&utm_campaign=ac-im Everything is conveniently located at the same place. Plan to spend the day with us, we can’t wait!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Come dressed to celebrate but we do recommend Semi Formal. Please note that the ceremony and dance portion of the evening will be outside (weather permitting).

Question

Is there transportation available to and from the Wedding venue?

Answer

There will be a complimentary shuttle to and from the “HOST HOTEL” the Wyndham Garden Inn, Edmonton Airpot, Leduc. We highly recommend people take advantage of this service and book into the hotel. Please see the Travel tab for details. Additionally we recommend pre booked Uber or other ride share companies. Taxi’s may be difficult to get from the venue.

Question

What time are Shuttles running and where from?

Answer

There will be ONE shuttle leaving the Wyndham Garden Inn - Leduc at 2:15pm There will be 2 shuttles back to the hotel in the evening one at 11:00 pm and the other at 12:45 am Please consider leaving a vehicle at the hotel and use the shuttle if you are going to be drinking. An uber or taxi from there later would be easier and cheaper. Any vehicles left at the venue must be removed by 10am the next morning.

Question

Will there be alcoholic beverages served?

Answer

Yes! However, there will be a Cash Only Bar and drinks will be $4 each. An ATM is available on site.

Question

Are there meal options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style and we have carefully chosen various dishes including 2 different meats, a vegetarian option, vegetables and a few salads so there will be plenty to choose from.

Question

How much time is there between the Ceremony and Reception and what is there to do?

Answer

We estimate about 2 hours while the Wedding Party and Bride and Groom’s family have photo’s done. We are anticipating being done early and look forward to joining you all for a cocktail and a game or two. There will be bar service and snacks as well as lawn games. Feel free to get a tournament going. There are many beautiful locations on the property to sit, visit and enjoy the afternoon.

Question

Are the Ceremony and Reception areas accessible?

Answer

While the outdoor terrain is mostly gravel it is accessible with assistance. There are also drop off areas for both the ceremony and then the reception.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love and cherish your little ones, we are having a mostly "adult-only" wedding. Please note that while some children have been invited, we kindly ask that you check the details on your invitation.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony and ask that all phones and cameras be turned off and put away for that time. Please live in the moment with us! We have hired a professional photographer and videographer for the ceremony to capture one of the most special moments of our lives. Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like once the ceremony has ended and do share them with us!

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this special day with our closest friends and family. To keep our gathering intimate, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing plus ones unless specifically invited.

Question

Is overnight camping available on site

Answer

The short answer is "yes”. However, it is in the parking lot (weather permitting) with no services. All units and vehicles must be out by 10 am the following day. The owners will enforce quite time once the Barn is shut down and Alcohol is not permitted outside of units. Alternately, there is camping 6 minutes south in Millet at the Millet Lions Club Campground. Reservations can be made on-line milletlionscampground.com
