With the recent events and closures due to COVID-19, including our original venue closing and cancelling on us, we have decided to replan the ceremony with a limited number of guests. We wish we could have everyone there, but we are taking steps to make sure we have a chance to celebrate with as many of you as we can! We plan to live stream the ceremony on May 2nd through Facebook, so be sure to friend and follow us so you don't miss it! We apologize to those that we won't be able to have you physically attend our wedding, but we hope you can attend virtually and in spirit! We plan to have a big reception which will hopefully take place around late summer/early fall. We will keep you posted on that, because that will be our opportunity to celebrate with you (in person)! If you plan on giving a gift, have already gotten a gift, or would like to give a monetary donation, you may either mail/ship them to us or bring them to the reception once we have that planned. We will continue to use this website for gifts and donations, and feel free to share the website with others. We don't expect or need any gifts, but know that many of you want to get something for us, and we do appreciate it! Our registry is small, but this site has two options for monetary donations that will help us in our future endeavors. Stay healthy! Love you all!

Music brought us together, as it does everyone. He was the playful percussionist, she was the crazy clarinetist, and long and frequent rehearsals allowed us to chat and joke. From the first downbeat, it was clear that we were meant to play together. Soon we started finding ourselves around each other outside of rehearsals, even talking about things other than music! Our friends say that they knew pretty quickly that this was going to happen, and it was only a matter of time.

While the ring thing (the proposal) was planned for a couple months, there was a last minute change of plans once the ring came in. He managed to not only get a bunch of our favorite people there, but he got her cooperating teacher involved too! Although she had her suspicions, as they walked into Dagger Mountain (the best coffee/tea place ever!) she did not expect how amazing the next few moments would be. Jared's brothers from Phi Mu Alpha serenaded her, while her other good friends captured every awkward move she made on camera. Caitlyn was shaking so bad she tripped over Jared when he got down on one knee. All she could say was, "what the hell" and, of course, "yes!"
