On December 26, 2025, Caleb and Caitlyn met for their first date at Kilwin's Ice Cream Shop in historic Downtown Franklin. What seemed like a simple ice cream date quickly became something much more memorable. As they ordered their ice cream, they discovered an unexpected coincidence: they both share the same favorite flavor, cookies-and-cream. After ice cream, they spent the evening walking and driving through Downtown Franklin, admiring the Christmas lights that were still twinkling throughout the city. As they strolled through downtown, Caleb would occasionally twirl Caitlyn into a dance right there on the sidewalk. One of their favorite memories from that night was dancing beneath the glow of the Franklin Theatre marquee, letting the lights spotlight their spins as if the city itself was cheering them on. Beneath the glow of the holiday season, conversation came easily, laughter came often, and a connection began to grow. What started as a single evening soon turned into countless adventures, comedy shows, concerts, family gatherings, beach trips, line dancing, and late-night conversations. Along the way, Caleb and Caitlyn discovered that their relationship was built on something deeper than shared interests—it was built on friendship, trust, encouragement, adventure, and the feeling of being completely at home with one another. Through life's celebrations and challenges, they have continually chosen each other. They have supported one another's dreams, embraced each other's families, and created a partnership grounded in love, laughter, communication, and unwavering commitment. One of the things they cherish most is that life's ordinary moments have become some of their favorite memories. Whether they're exploring a new place, eating supper together, enjoying a concert, watching a sunset on the beach, or dancing together just because the moment feels right, they have learned that the best moments are the ones shared side by side. On June 23, 2026 at Pawley's Island in South Carolina, Caleb asked Caitlyn to spend forever with him, and she joyfully said yes. Now, as they prepare to say "I do," they are excited to begin the next chapter of their story surrounded by the people they love most.
