Caitlyn and Andrew met in the summer of 2018 on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Caitlyn was entering into her freshman year of NC State University while Andrew was going into his sophomore year of Saint Joseph’s University. A usual meeting of friends, Caitlyn and Andrew met through mutual friends. From the first night they met, they hit it off, talking the whole night and getting to know each other. The fireworks went on for the remainder of the summer, as the two were inseparable even though they had just met. When the summer ended, the two went their respective ways to school, still keeping in touch on a daily basis, and waiting for the following year's Memorial Day knowing that would be their start of summer to see each other once again. After several summers of being with each other, the two finally decided to stop beating around the bush and make it official. Andrew asked Caitlyn to be his girlfriend at the Spray Beach Inn hotel bar, a frequent destination since it is the midpoint between their family beach houses. Of course, she said yes or else we wouldn’t be here today. Since the two have been close for so long, they were best friends well before Andrew asked to make it official, and since that moment, they have still found a way to grow exponentially together. The two graduated from their respective universities, and began their careers in the big apple. They share an apartment in Hoboken that they are able to call home, decorating it with pictures of their many adventures and trinkets they’ve collected on the way. And more recently by expanding their family with the addition of Reese, their mini dachshund, who is a beautiful ball of energy. Although there have been enough stories to fill a novel, there is still so much more to endeavor and enjoy. We are ecstatic to have you join us on our journey, and we can’t wait to have you celebrating with us on the happiest day of our lives.
