The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Holy Name of Jesus has a strict no cell phone photography rule. Fortunately, we have a wonderful photographer that we have hired for the wedding and we will be sure to share photos taken that evening with our guests!
There is a small parking lot located next to the church that is available for wedding guests. When this is full, there is plenty of street parking available on St. Charles Ave.
Parking is limited and using a rideshare app is encouraged! There will be a Sheriff's detail officer on duty outside of Rosy's Jazz Hall who will direct guests on where to park. Otherwise, there is street parking available on Tchoupitoulas St.
We are unable to accommodate transportation but it is a quick 5 minute drive or rideshare from Holy Name of Jesus to Rosy's Jazz Hall.
We will be continuing the celebration at Caitlyn's family bar, Brothers III Lounge on Magazine Street after the reception. There will be a small shuttle taking guests to Brothers from the reception. It is a 5 minute walk from Rosy's Jazz Hall, if anyone would like to walk there. It is a cash only bar, so please come prepared!
We have a strict guest list to stay within our wedding budget. Our wedding is RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate the amount of guests listed on your RSVP.
Both will be indoors; however, Rosy's Jazz Hall has a beautiful outdoor courtyard that out guests may enjoy during the reception.
