Maid of Honor
My beautiful and amazing sister. God blessed me with a lifetime friend in this one. She is brilliant, kind and always willing to offer a helping hand. I know I am SO lucky to have such an amazing sister. Anyone who has had the chance to get to know us both can attest to the statement that we are very similar in some ways and very different in others. One thing we do have in common is that we love the heck out of each other and couldn't imagine the other not standing next to them on their wedding day. I am so excited she said yes to being my Maid of Honor!
Bridesmaid
This sweet friend of mine walked her way into my life when I needed a friend the most. We became close in 2014 and I can't even count the number of lunches, happy hours and Bachelor/Bachelorette Monday nights that have shaped and molded our friendship. Alyssa is my romantic friend. The one who has always encouraged me to pursue love and continues to encourage me every step of the way. I am forever grateful for the continuous love and support she has shown me over the years and I am beyond excited to have her walking down the aisle with me on my big day.
Bridesmaid
Emily was my first real friend made in adulthood when we met as interns right out of college. Our friendship bloomed rather quickly. I taught her all about being a Texan and she taught me how to be more assertive. She always fed me, y'all. Like, a lot. She invited me over for dinner more times than I can even count because she KNEW my dinner options consisted of pancakes or a Lean Cuisine. She is always there when I need someone to listen and I can't imagine a world where I don't get a snap or text from her every day. I love her to death and I am so excited to have her be a part of this day.
Bridesmaid
My fellow lover of dogs. One of my fondest memories of our friendship is that we first bonded over our matching pups. This girl is one of the most resilient people I know. She is unbelievably caring and is always there when you need her. From our love of the same trashy reality shows and well.....talking, I knew this friendship had the ingredients to last. I am so excited she agreed to be a bridesmaid and I cannot wait for her to stand up with me on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Sweet, sweet Julee is a Godsend of a friend. This girl loves the Lord and has showed me that true friendship can withstand any distance. We could go months without seeing each other in person and pick up right where we left off. Almost all of my favorite college memories include this girl, from hitchhiking on Northgate to working at Spoons, we didn't go five minutes without laughing so hard we cried. She is a strong, kind and beautiful soul and I am so proud to call her a friend.
Bridesmaid
My running buddy. This girl continues to amaze me. From the day we met, I knew she would be a life-long friend. Her quirky humor and undying loyalty are only two the reasons I love her. Alexis' incredible strength is like no other. Regardless of the battles she is fighting in her own life, she is still there offer a shoulder to lean and a helping hand every step of the way. I couldn't imagine my wedding without her by my side.
Best Man
Brother. Best Man. Daniel and I have always gotten along. so when I moved back to Houston after being in Austin for a year, we quickly decided to become roommates so I wouldn't go crazy from living at home again (Love ya, Mom and Dad!). Not to mention so I could be closer to Caitlyn, if I'm being completely honest. We share our love for baseball (most of these guys do) and Game of Thrones. I'm overjoyed that he said yes to being my Best Man on this big day.
Groomsman
Also Brother. While Drew and I didn't always get along, we eventually became friends over the years. Now I couldn't be happier that he agreed to be there standing beside me on the biggest day of my life. I learned how much of a protector he was of me growing up, and I am extremely grateful for that. Thinking of some of my favorites times with Drew, I remember playing catch in the backyard, without a care in the world (for me at least, he wanted to play in the MLB).
Groomsman
Friend. Matt and I met almost immediately after transferred to A&M, as he was living with one of my friends I met at T-Camp. Pretty soon he was one of my best friends, and the number of times I would spend the night on his couch after either staying up watching NFL Draft recruit footage or talking about the Astros is way too many to count. I wouldn't have had it any other way, and I am so happy he decided to stand beside me for this day.
Groomsman
Also Friend. Bryan was the first person who I ever told about Caitlyn. And I quote, "I don't know man, she's just different. I think she might be it." This was three weeks into knowing her. I'm sure at the time he thought I was crazy, but look at us now! Bryan has been one of my closest friends since I transferred to A&M, and we have way too many memories from Northgate together. When I bought gifts for my groomsmen (Astros related of course), he thought that all 7 of the same item I was buying were for me. "I thought you just wanted one for each day of the week!" - Bryan
Groomsman
Also Friend. Jay and I first met when I transferred to A&M (noticing a trend here?) and he has been a consistent in my life since then. He is one of the funniest guys I know, and is never against having a good time. Him and his wife Emma have become some of our closest friends, and we look forward to the nights we get to spend with them. When it comes to memories with Jay, most of them include one of us doing something ridiculous, like him trying to jump a 3 foot ditch and rolling his ankle in the process.
Groomsman
Also Friend. Robby is an incredible friend, and we too met pretty soon after I transferred to A&M. He has also been a consistent presence in my life, and we were always together through our years in college. The friendship he has provided me through the years has been one of the best I could ask for, we helped each other through some tough times. When I asked him to be a groomsman, he looked like he was shocked, to which I said "Did you really expect anything else?"
