Caitlyn & Mitchell met back in 2014 at their hometown high school through mutual friends, but it wasn't until the summer of 2016 until they finally went on a date. Before their first outing, Caitlyn received a strange text message from Mitchell stating, "Did I see you at Farm Fresh today?" Caitlyn was confused but replied accordingly and began a conversation that led to their first outing together. After many swapped smiles, flirtatious comments, and giddy laughter, the night ended with an awkward side hug. Now the story goes two ways depending on who you ask. Mitchell: "I never heard from her again." Caitlyn: "I told him I had a great time, and he never responded, so I got the hint." After that night, Caitlyn went off to college out of town and Mitchell continued his job, eventually going into the Fire Department. Mitchell was trying to call in report for a critical patient that probably should have gone to a different hospital, but Caitlyn was new and made the mistake of accepting them. She attempted to call Mitchell on his personal cellphone to correct her mistake but sadly he did not answer. Once arrived at the hospital, Caitlyn was met with a very hostile and cold Mitchell, who at the time was not in the mood for the comment, "next time I call you, pick up the phone." Nevertheless, Mitchell took that comment as "she must be calling me again soon." WRONG, Caitlyn never called. A year later, Mitchell and Caitlyn matched on a dating app made for those looking for true love, Bumble. It was there they finally made plans to go see a movie and rekindle their flame. The date went great, laughs were shared and finally, secrets were revealed. Mitchell told Caitlyn a secret he had been keeping for now over 7 years. In 2016, he NEVER saw her at Farm Fresh, it was just his mischievous way of contacting her and getting a conversation started. And the rest is history...
