What should we wear?

Answer

Our wedding is an "outlaw" theme. We recommend basing your outfit on the Wild West late 1800's-Prohibition of the 1920's. If you don't want to participate in dressing with the theme, that is totally fine too! SHOES : The venue property is grass, gravel, and cement. Ladies I recommend if you choose to wear heals...make them chunky heals or wedges. (The bride will be wearing combat boots, and the groom is wearing riding boots.)

Can we stay overnight at the venue?

Answer

YES! We want to have a great time but do NOT want anyone to drive under the influence. The Waterwheel has offered to let guests camp on the property if they so choose.

Is this wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The wedding ceremony + cocktail hour + dinner will be taking place outside, so make sure to wear sunscreen, and make sure your outfit is breathable so you do not get too hot.

What kind of food can we expect?

Answer

It is a plated dinner based on your RSVP food choices. There are 45 guests including the couple. Cocktail hour will include fresh wood fired pizza, a charcuterie board, passed hors d'oeuvres, etc. Dessert will be served as well.

Will Caitlinn be changing her last name?

We are getting this question a lot. Nope! We are both keeping our names just the way they are.
