Our tale begins in the Spring of 2022. Brendon had started a new job, and was driving back and forth between College Station and Dallas every other week for several months. During this time Caitlinn and he matched a couple of times on dating apps but never really made a connection. After connecting for a third time, and Caitlinn reminding Brendon that they in fact had connected before, Brendon found this opportunity to ask her out to dinner. Meeting at Mi Cosina we hit it off immediately (forgetting to order food for the first 4 hours of being there). After a nearly 7-hour-long first date, we decided that we liked spending time with one another. One date led to three the next week. Including but not limited to Top Golf, Costco, and even Nebraska Furniture (Caitlinn wanted a new couch, so Brendon, of course, went couch shopping with her). Fast forward a month, and Brendon asked Caitlinn to be his Girlfriend in September. Throughout the next couple of years, Caitlinn and Brendon would travel to New York, Florida, Kansas, and Big Bend (Caitlinn’s longest road trip ever!) and find themselves going on weekend adventures and dates regularly. They were even blessed with the opportunity to visit each other’s extended families in Oregon and Illinois! In the summer of 2024, they received a stellar opportunity to travel to Virginia Beach for their two-year anniversary. A couple of months before the trip, Brendon acquired a ring and sought to propose to Caitlinn on the beach during their getaway. On August 10th (2 days before their two-year anniversary), Brendon got down on one knee and asked Caitlinn to Marry him, which she painfully said YES (as she had been stung by a bee just moments before).
