4th of July, 2019—Brian is visiting family for the weekend in Santa Barbara. After a full day of East Beach Volleyball & white claws, Caitlin heads to her favorite local spot LamaDog and runs right into Brian and his sister. Since that night, they have been inseparable. Two weeks later, Brian joins Caitlin for her family reunion in Lake Tahoe and meets her family. A week after that Caitlin joins Brian for his family reunion in Michigan and meets his family. Through it all—Brian moving back to SB from LA, two job/career changes, a pandemic—here we are 3 years later! We are so grateful for your time and presence to celebrate our very special wedding day as we say "I Do" surrounded by all of you!
Brian told Caitlin they had dinner reservations at a nice restaurant Friday night. As they were driving downtown, he took a quick turn and said, "let's go watch the sunset at more mesa before dinner". They walked out to the end of the bluffs over to the left. This spot they frequented during the pandemic together and Caitlin mentioned when they were to get engaged, "this would be the ideal spot". Brian listened and got down on his knee and popped the question. Of course Caitlin said yes! It was a beautiful and very hot weekend in Santa Barbara and then they went to dinner and were surprised by both sides of the family!
