When is the RSVP deadline?

Invitations were sent out at the end of June. Please RSVP via our wedding website by August 25, 2022.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Formal attire suggests a dark suit or tuxedo for men and floor-length dress, a dressy, knee-length cocktail dress, or pant/jump suit for women. Note: The ceremony & reception will be on the lawn, so choose your footwear accordingly. The tent for our reception will be heated.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

There is NOT a shuttle. However, there is plenty of on-site parking at the venue. You also have the option to take an Uber or Lyft. The venue is about 7 minutes from the hotel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors to the venue open at 4pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, so please plan to arrive and be seated before then.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

The average weather in Waltham in October is moderately chilly with a gentle breeze, with average highs of 67°F and lows of 49°F.

Are there any travel advisories I should be aware of?

Answer

Yes, for those of you who will arrive in (East) Boston at Logan International Airport: The Sumner Tunnel, which is the route inbound from East Boston to downtown Boston will be closed for repairs every weekend this summer and fall. This means that the route between Logan International Airport and downtown Boston will be a no-go the weekend of our wedding. If you plan on going directly to the hotel in Waltham, you will be unaffected as you will be taking the Ted Williams tunnel south of downtown Boston. However, if you plan on staying in Boston or traveling downtown directly from the airport, you will most likely experience traffic delays. In short, guests arriving at the airport and travelling directly to the hotel in Waltham can expect normal weekend traffic. Guests who plan on going to downtown Boston from the airport can expect significantly more traffic due to Sumner Tunnel repairs.
