It's funny how things in life happen....during our junior year of high school in 2017, Zach and I had a class together. We were the only two juniors in the class. One day, the teacher wanted everyone to break into groups for a lab. Not really knowing anyone else in the class, I DM'd Zach to see if he wanted to be in a group with me. Several weeks later, we began texting and eventually talking on a regular basis. It wasn't until that August and the beginning of our senior year, when we began dating. Our first official date took place at a Cincinnati Reds game which happened to go into extra innings. We did not seem to mind because it just meant that we had more time to hang out with each other. Senior year was full of so many memories including school dances, holidays, prom and graduation. After high school, we both set goals for ourselves to pursue our college educations and we supported each other through all the challenges that we faced, including the pandemic. We also suffered the loss of five of our beloved grandparents, three of them within one year. We celebrated joys with each other when we both graduated with successful degrees and began new careers. Several years later, there is not a day that has gone by that we have not been together, even if its was just dinner after a long day at work. This past year, we happened to see a listing for a house and made a successful purchase to make this our future home. In July, while on a family vacation to Alaska, Zach picked the most incredible spot and proposed. After eight years in the making, it is safe to say that 2025 has by far, been one of the most memorable! We can't wait until next year, because we are certain the best is yet to come and we will get to celebrate with all of you!
