Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 22nd, 2025.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden cocktail party attire -- Pink and whimsy highly encouraged! Our wedding ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors, so I would be remiss if I did not add a quick note about weather -- September in Oklahoma can be beautifully mild or unexpectedly warm (and occasionally breezy), so we recommend taking this into consideration. Flat shoes or wedges are a great idea if you are concerned about walking on grass. Or if you want to go for a fabulous heel option, they do make heel covers to prevent high heels from sinking into the grass. These are typically made of rubber or plastic and slide over the tip of slim heels to create a more stable base as you walk and protect heels from damage. We want you to feel fabulous and comfortable as you celebrate with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:00 pm, but we ask that everyone please have your pockets in a seat by 5:50pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will appear on the envelope or RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding as we create an intimate and meaningful day with our nearest and dearest!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones (and you know we do — I’m a teacher, after all!), our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll enjoy a well-deserved night off to relax, dance, and toast with us under the fairy lights — no permission slips required.

Question

Am I involved in the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

From 6:00–8:00 PM, we’ll be hosting a private dinner only for our wedding party and immediate family to rehearse, enjoy some delicious pizza (a nod to our first date!), and raise a glass together. Starting at 8:00 PM, we welcome all other guests and friends to join us for an evening of celebration! The brewery will be open for drinks, games (indoor and outdoor), and karaoke fun. Come hang out, sing a song, or just toast with us as we get ready to say “I do!” It should give you an option to RSVP online if you need to be there at 6:00, but if you are unsure, you can always reach out!

Question

Have another question that is not listed?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to Caitlin or Tanner or our wedding coordinator Ginny Carlton at ginnycarlton13@gmail.com

Question

What are we doing about last names?

Answer

Caitlin will be taking Tanner’s last name and stepping into her new role as Mrs. Morton! It’s a choice she’s making with love and intention—not because she has to, but because she wants to. A new name for a new chapter, shared with her favorite person.
